Piano Outreach of New York (PONY) shares its faculty with its sister organization, The Piano School of New York. Each faculty member is a conservatory trained graduate with a minimum of a BA in Music. Most faculty members are in their early twenties and are recent graduates of local conservatories such as Julliard, Mannes or the Manhattan School of Music. Currently there are more than 50 teachers on the shared faculty of the Piano School and PONY, nearly all of whom participate in after school piano programs. Each participating teacher prepares his or her own class curriculum tailored to the age and sophistication of the children in their classes
